As data volumes continue to grow, Pink Elephant needed a sovereign, highly available, and cost-efficient storage platform to support long-term data retention for customers with strict regulatory and availability requirements. The solution needed to provide S3-compatible access, geo-distribution across multiple Dutch data centers, strong durability, and significantly lower power and operational costs than traditional storage platforms.

Pink Elephant deployed Quantum ActiveScale Cold Storage, which combines S3-compatible object storage with a native, tape-based cold tier in a single namespace.
