You'll receive an email with a link to download your free Community Edition software. The file size may be large, so please make sure you allocate enough space and time to save the software to your target drive.
As a reminder, this license can be in production environments, but only includes the Community Edition licensing for up to 5 TB of storage (raw, may be slightly larger, including the storage required for metadata and I/O). Support is available online through the DXi Support forum.
DXi V5000 Community Edition System Requirements:
• Hypervisor: VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V
• 100 GB boot disk
• 100 GB – 5 TB disk for storage (depending upon what capacity you want – upgradable whenever you decide)
• Memory 4 GB
• 2 64-bit CPUs
• 1 network port
