DLT Logo

Anyone using our trademarks or logo must adhere to the Usage Guidelines below. Do not distribute or alter the logotype artwork in any way.

The DLT® logo may only be used by authorized parties doing production work requiring its use.

Clearspace

It is important for brand clarity to leave space around the logo before adding copy or other images. The clearspace requirement around the art is a gap the height of the letter "T" in "DLT".

Minimum Size Requirement

The minimum width size for printing the DLT logo is 1/2 inch (12.5 mm.) Make sure the logo always prints cleanly and clearly. Check for quality during the printing and/or production process. (Note: this minimum size is for printed materials. The logos should be larger for clear legibility on-screen.)

Trademark Logo

The DLT logo must always be accompanied by the registered trademark symbol ®. All logos downloaded from this site will contain the registered trademark ®. In some applications, you may need to adjust the size of the registered trademark so that it is clearly legible, yet unobtrusive.

Color

The use of color helps establish a strong brand image. The DLT logo can be used in either the 2-color or 1-color version, following the color specifications shown here.

When using either, or both, of these colors on a white, black or any light or dark colored background, make sure that sufficient contrast is provided.

Black and White Logos

Use the black on white or any light-colored background that provides sufficient contrast. Use the white logo on black or any dark-colored background that provides sufficient contrast.

Special Materials

On special materials (such as executive invitations, exclusive merchandise, and sometimes on cartridges and drives, etc.) the DLT logo may appear in gold or silver metallic. It may also be blind embossed or debossed, embroidered on fabric, or etched into glass, plastic or metal.

When using gold or silver metallic on a tape cartridge or tape drive handle, make sure you use only one metallic color on that cartridge or handle. Do not mix different metallic colors together. The Quantum brand manager or representative should see a sample and approve the use of metallic color on tape cartridges and tape drive handles.

Incorrect Applications

DO NOT alter the logo in any way, or place the logo in a crowded layout or on a busy background.

Product Names and The Logo

DO NOT use the DLT logo combined with a product name or number. The DLT logo is most effective when it is placed separately from product names and numbers
