Humanist 777 is the Quantum brand typeface. It has a clean, approachable look and is easy to read. When creating branded materials, thoughtful organization of content and careful use of typography will enhance the overall impact of our communications and help ensure strong visual consistency across a range of communication types. Humanist 777 should always be used for all Quantum branded items. This section provides basic guidelines for typographic style. More detailed typographic guidelines can be found embedded in the document templates, available in the Templates section.

Humanist 777

Humanist 777 is used for title bars, headlines, introductory copy and sidebar copy.

Reverse Indent Title Bar

Multi line title bars use a reverse indent style. This style is built into the Quark templates available in the Templates section.

Sample Type Layout

This sample shows a typical typographic layout. Columns align to the grid and the text is set flush left, with no hyphenation. All the styles shown here are built into the Quark templates available in the Templates section.

When Humanist is Not Available

If Humanist 777 is not available or cannot be used for technical reasons (when producing HTML text for a web site, for example) use the font Arial instead.

Never substitute Arial for Humanist when producing professionally printed materials.
