Paul Auvil

Mr. Paul R. Auvil III has served as CFO of Proofpoint, Inc. since March 2007 and led the company’s public offering in April 2012. Prior to joining Proofpoint, he was an entrepreneur-in-residence with Benchmark Capital, a venture capital firm, from October 2006 to March 2007. While at Benchmark, Mr. Auvil evaluated a broad range of investments and advised various portfolio companies throughout the technology industry. From August 2002 to July 2006, he held the position of CFO of VMware, Inc., a global leader in virtualization and cloud infrastructure companies. Prior to that, Mr. Auvil served for four years as CFO at Vitria Technology, where he led various aspects of the company’s financial and business operations, executing both an initial and secondary public offering during his tenure. Earlier in his career, he spent ten years at VLSI Technology, ultimately becoming Vice President and General Manager of its Internet and Secure Products Division. Mr. Auvil also serves on the board of Marin Software, a provider of a Revenue Acquisition Management platform for advertisers and agencies. He holds patents related to digital video compression in Japan and high-speed, PCI compatible on-chip data bus in the U.S. Mr. Auvil is the Chairman of the Quantum board and a member of the company's Audit Committee, Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee and Leadership and Compensation Committee.

Gregg Powers

Mr. Gregg Powers serves as Chairman and CEO of Private Capital Management LLC (along with its successor entities “PCM”), a provider of equity portfolio management. After joining PCM in 1988, he became co-portfolio manager during the mid-1990s, focusing on the firm’s primary underwriting of investments in technology, healthcare and telecommunications. He was named President of PCM in 1999, CEO in 2008 and Chairman in 2009. As portfolio manager, Mr. Powers oversees all aspects of the investment of PCM client portfolios. He also currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Alere, Inc., a global leader in near-patient diagnosis, monitoring and health information technology. Mr. Powers is the Chairman of Quantum’s Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee.

Clifford Press

Mr. Clifford Press has served as a member of the Quantum’s board since April 2016. He is an experienced governance oriented investor and has served on the boards of numerous public companies in the course of his career. Mr. Press also currently serves as a director of Drive Shack, Inc., a golf and leisure company and Stewart Information Services Corporation, a global real estate services company. From 1983 to 1986, he was employed by Morgan Stanley and Co., Inc., where he worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department. In 1986, he co-founded the investment company Hyde Park Holdings, which engaged in a number of investment and acquisition activities from its founding through March 2003. In 2005, Mr. Press formed Oliver Press Partners, an investment advisory firm, in partnership with Gus Oliver. Additionally, from December 2011 to February 2013, Mr. Press served as a director of SeaBright Holdings, Inc., a holding company whose wholly-owned subsidiary, SeaBright Insurance Company, operates as a specialty provider of multijurisdictional workers' compensation insurance. From 2001 to June 2011, Mr. Press served as a director of GM Network Ltd., a private holding company providing Internet-based digital currency services. Mr. Press is a member of Quantum’s Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee.

Raghavendra Rau

Mr. Raghavendra Rau currently serves on the board of TiVo Corp., a creator of personalized and data-driven ways for viewers to discover the right entertainment and for providers to discover the right audiences, a position he has held since May 2015. From November 2011 to October 2014, Mr. Rau served as the CEO of SeaChange International Inc., a provider of digital video systems, software and related services to cable, telecommunications and broadcast TV companies worldwide, where he also served as a director. From November 2010 to December 2014, Mr. Rau served as a director of Aviat Networks, Inc., a global supplier of microwave networking solutions, backed by an extensive suite of professional services and support. He also previously served as a director of Microtune, Inc., a global leader in RF integrated circuits and subsystem modules, from May 2010 until its acquisition by Zoran Corp. in December 2010. Prior to that, Mr. Rau spent over 15 years at Motorola, Inc., where he held various positions, including Senior Vice President of the Mobile TV Solutions Business, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, Networks & Enterprise, Corporate Vice President of Global Marketing and Strategy, and Corporate Vice President of Marketing and Professional Services. Mr. Rau is a member of Quantum’s Audit Committee and Leadership and Compensation Committee.

David Roberson

Mr. David E. Roberson has served as a business consultant to technology companies since 2012. He served as Senior Vice President within the Enterprise Servers, Storage and Networking Group of HP from May 2007 to May 2011, where he was responsible for building on the company’s foundation as a leading provider of storage solutions and pursuing new opportunities for global growth. Additionally, he was General Manager of HP’s StorageWorks Division from May 2007 to October 2010. Prior to that, Mr. Roberson spent 26 years at Hitachi Data Systems, starting as corporate counsel and eventually becoming President and CEO, a position he held from 2006 to May 2007. He also served as President and COO from 2002 to 2006 and COO from 2000 to 2002. Mr. Roberson began his technology career at Amdahl Corporation in 1980 following posts as adjunct professor at Golden Gate University School of Law and research director at UC Hastings College of the Law. He also serves on the board of Brocade Communications Systems, Inc., a networking solutions company and as Chairman of Push Technology, a company focused on optimizing data delivery for web, mobile and IoT apps. In addition, Mr. Roberson has significant previous experience serving as a board member of public companies in the software and technology industries, including International Game Technology Corporation, where he served on the board from 2008 to 2013, Spansion Corporation (2005-2008), and Integrated Device Technology Corporation (2004-2005). He is the Chairman of Quantum’s Audit Committee and the Chairman of the company’s Leadership and Compensation Committee.

Marc Rothman

Mr. Marc Rothman is currently executive vice president and chief financial officer at VeriFone Inc., which designs, markets and services electronic payment systems for consumers, merchants and financial institutions, a position he has held since February 2013. Before joining VeriFone, he served as the chief financial officer of Motorola Mobility Inc., where he played a central role in Motorola Mobility’s spinoff from its former parent company, Motorola Inc., as well as its sale to Google in 2012. During his 12-year tenure at Motorola, Mr. Rothman also served in a number of senior finance leadership positions across the company, including chief financial officer in several of its global business segments (Public Safety, Networks and Enterprise, and Mobile Devices) and senior vice president and corporate controller. From 1995 to 2000, he was vice president, corporate controller at General Instrument Corp., which develops integrated and interactive broadband access solutions. Prior to that, Mr. Rothman spent eight years at Deloitte & Touche, Audit Advisory Services. He is a member of Quantum’s Audit Committee.

Adalio Sanchez

Mr. Adalio Sanchez is currently president of S Group Advisory LLC, which provides expertise and advisory services focusing on business models and strategy, technology strategy and monetization, and operational excellence, a position he has held since June 2015. Prior to that, Mr. Sanchez served a year as senior vice president/officer at Lenovo Group Ltd., which develops, manufactures and markets technology products and services. From 1982 to 2014, he worked at IBM Corp., rising to become general manager, Modular Systems from 2009 to 2014, where he ran two divisions with total annual revenues of $6 billion. Other leadership positions Mr. Sanchez held at IBM included vice president of Corporate Strategy from 2008 to 2009 and various general manager roles, including general manager of Microelectronics from 2006 to 2008, general manager of UNIX Systems from 2002 to 2006 and chief operating officer of IBM’s personal computer (PC) business from 2001 to 2002. He began his career as an engineer working on IBM’s second PC. Mr. Sanchez also serves on the board of ACI Worldwide, which delivers electronic banking and payment solutions for more than 5000 financial institutions, merchants, billers and processors around the world. He is a member of Quantum’s Leadership and Compensation Committee.
