Installation Services top

Would you like an expert to install your system right out of the box? When a Quantum product arrives at the customer's site, Quantum's StorageCare Installation Services include:

  • Inspecting the product for any damage that may have occurred during shipment
  • Uncrating the product, rack mount kit, etc. and removing shipping materials
  • Leveling and alignment (if applicable)
  • Attaching the product to the host device or network
  • Exercising the product to ensure successful connection
  • Providing product overview and proper handling instructions

Configuration Services top

Our Installation and Configuration Services Team is comprised of Quantum certified engineers with extensive experience installing Quantum products in tested and certified storage environments. They also have considerable hands-on experience with a wide range of host applications, operating systems, and devices typically found in today's heterogeneous SAN’s.

Quantum's Five-Step Installation and Configuration Process Optimized to Your Needs

Design:
Our Pre-sales System Engineer’s work with you to select the appropriate technologies and SAN configuration based on your specific requirements and objectives.
Plan:
A Statement of Work (“SOW”) details the skilled resources, scope of work and timeline for installation. Your installation coordinator or project manager will also schedule and manage the delivery of all Quantum hardware or software included in your solution.
Installation:
Our certified engineers install your Quantum hardware or software, then confirm that it is configured properly with your storage network.
Post-Installation Review:
Once your solution is operational, our Installation and Configuration team ensures that you are prepared to manage its operation by providing your users with a system overview as well as introducing your team to our online support documentation and maintenance procedures.
Ongoing Support and Service:
Quantum provides single-call or online request for support for all of your Quantum products via Quantum’s Technical Assistance Center. Quantum’s Technical Assistance Center is available up to 24 hours a day, seven days a week, connecting you with a product expert for troubleshooting your environment and developing an action plan to resolve the issue. We also provide on-site service according to the terms of your Quantum hardware support plan.
