When a tape drive is first received, specially designed diagnostic software will help to analyze the cause of the failure and determine corrective actions that need to be taken. Additionally, tape drives undergo a thorough mechanical and electrical analysis to identify any parts that are worn or damaged. After repairs are made, each tape drive is extensively tested to assure that only the highest quality products are returned to you.

New or factory-certified parts installed by experts

Unlike other third party repair houses, Quantum only uses new or factory-certified parts in its repairs. And if an upgraded part is available, such as an ESD shield or a mechanical/notched handle, we'll install it automatically. Our technicians are experts in the proper way to install components that not only correct the current problems, but also prevent additional problems in the future.

Competitive 6-Month Warranty

At Quantum, we stand behind the quality of our work.  We offer a six-month warranty on not just the repairs we make for you, but the entire tape drive itself.  If you experience any additional problems with your tape drive within six months of the repair, send it back to us for additional repairs at no charge.  We also offer different shipment availabilities to meet your business needs.
