And esXpress backs up virtual disks at the “block-level” delivering incremental backup that can be sent directly to one or more DXi-Series storage targets simultaneously for deduplication and intelligent offsite replication.

Quantum’s DXi7500-Series, DXi3500 and DXi2500-D backup appliances are the perfect backup repository for this VMware data. VM images are ideally suited to deduplication and the resulting storage savings can exceed 95%. DXi replication enables a simple disaster recovery solution by providing a complete offsite replica of the VMware environment. This can be used to rebuild a Virtual Machine or an entire VMware ESX architecture at a remote site.
